Very nice, good choice on the tweed. Every time I see an example of John's work I start thinking "I really do need that military box pleat...or anything else from him."

Very nice get-up Dan. All balances very nicely and a smashin' Kilt and waistcoat from John. I'm liking tweed more and more.

I have one in Marton Mills Cairngorme from John Hart (Keltoi) as well. I like it very much and it is my wife's favorite kilt I own. It is an extremely comfortable kilt, durable and grand looking. I had some question in my mind about care versus worsted wool. I use my standard brushing after wear and hang, the wrinkles fall out like worsted wool. And given some of the recent threads- you won't find any shortcuts in construction with John.

I appreciate the compliments.... I am so very pleased with the kilt and all.... I think about my first experiences with kilts and thanks to this forum, how more comfortable I am. Less is definately more..

Very handsome outfit, especially the kilt - pastoral and elegant in an understated way. You certainly look "middle class", but hardly average.

    Congratulations.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Well done my brother. You are certainly finding your look, and it works well on you. I eagerly await my first from John, a traditional in the Davidson Modern. I also look forward to us strolling the Arlington HG, which as you know, I'll be manning the tent for Clan Davidson. You described the cromach to me, but your words did not do it justice. As always thank you for your service Peacekeeper!
