I like that they're thinking "out of the box" and developing new technology, but all I can think of when I see printed tire sides is... TACKY!

And you know the first major users of this technology will be advertisers. It's difficult to find any blank space left in our society that isn't filled up with advertisements. Now they will want this space too.

"They" already have it, in that the tire mfg uses it for name/model/logo/branding display. I had a heck of a time convincing the kids at a major discount store tire center, many years ago, to mount the tires blackwall-side-out on my '72 Capri. They had the size I needed but only in a screaming white-letter version that I wasn't willing to be seen in!

LOL. Don't tell me, you guys are starting a...

You might just be a scottish redneck if.... series?

Perhaps we could try it this way...

You know you might just be a kilt addict if you prefer to call your muffin top a tartan tire. ;)

You know you might just be a kilt addict if you stalk ebay looking for everything tartan related.

You know you might just be a kilt addict if you research your family's history back to the dawn of the British isles just to find more families' tartans to wear.

You know you just might be a kilt addict if you... think that flies are essential to life and your happiness.

    lol.

If you think TEN non-bifurcated garments hanging in the closet is a good start, you might be a kilt addict.

If you look at belts and wonder "where are the 2 1/2' wide ones at?" you might be a kilt addict.

If you step over a pair of shorts while reaching for the warrior's garment, you might be a kilt addict.

If you put off cleaning the garage until you have a proper 'Workman's Utilikilt' you might be a kilt addict.

    LOL!! Too funny!

You know you just might be a kilt addict...

...if you think real "games" are throwing tree trunks and boulders the size of car tires.

...if you dip into your kid's college fund to buy him a kiltie.

...if you have more hose than a garden store.

...if you buy garters in bulk.

...if you spent the entire time you were watching Braveheart trying to guess the tartans. "Ooo that one is definitely not a Wallace!"

...if you won't go on a hike without the "whole nine yards."

...if you know more about sewing pleats than all the factories in China.

...if you know that plaid is not just a pattern on fabric.

...if you think pants are for sissies.

Might be a useful diagnostic tool. If they swish or waggle, an alignment is in order!
