Does anyone here have any experience with these kilts? And what about a 22 oz. kilt - my 13 oz. is heavy enough.

Thanks for any info you might have.

I have worn a military-weight kilt, Giraffe. It was one I borrowed from the QuarterMaster's Stores whilst doing my National Service back in the late 1950s. I needed a kilt in a hurry to perform in a display of Scottish Country Dancing in a nearby town. I remember the weight as being utterly fantastic for the pleat 'swing factor', but it was very warm (even for an English Summer!) and I'd not want one in my own "Kilt Kollection"!
By the way, I trust you realise that the 'What Price Glory' kilts are modern reproductions and not genuine Army issue.
