Tartan Day on Ellis Island, sponsored by the Clan Currie Society, will open Tartan Week on Saturday, March 31 with a new exhibition entitled, "An Leabhar Mor" - the Great Book of Gaelic. The exhibition runs through Sunday, April 8. To commemorate National Tartan Day, the Society will play host to a group of pipers, drummers, dancers and other live Scottish entertainment from April 6 through 8. Admission is free.

I notice that this year the parade will include two of the military academies.
