Bunnahabhain has long been a favourite of mine too. Now it's not often that good things are made better but in this case it is. By popular demand, the distillery has recently dispensed with chill-filtering and have also stopped adding caramel for colour to the product. It's also been upped to 46.3% by vol. The end result in my opinion is heaven in a glass. Not that it was bad before. If you are used to whiskies in the 40% area, you might want to experiment with a tea-spoon splash of still mineral water dropped into it. It really does open it up. Smells wonderful, tastes marvelous!
