Agonising Jonesing
Just been told that my overtime will be paid in 5 weeks and decided to pay some bills, put some aside for our trip to SW Scotland in August, and use the rest to treat myself to a few small items.
Now I just need to wait for it to be paid, order the stuff and then face the awful wait of ‘Has it come yet?’.
Guess the next couple of months are gonna go agonisingly slow…
And yes, I know the rules…as soon as I get the stuff, pics will follow.

Long walks, cold showers and a daily rub-down with a copy of the highway code.
Won't do anything for you, but will be amusing for the rest of us while we are waiting for you to stop waiting.
Regards

Also agonizing waiting for our trip to Scotland in July/Aug, so I can truthfully tell you that I feel your pain! I just finished my DIY XMARKS kilt. It will be the one I take with me. Plane tickets - bought, Tattoo tickets - bought, Ferry tickets - bought, B&Bs - reserved. The work is mostly done, and I still have to wait for two and a half months! Yep, I feel your pain.
Scotland is only 1/5 the size of Montana, but Scotland has over 3,000 castles and Montana has none.

I totally agree Dennis!
Its only 85 days until I get back up home to the Glens, even if it is only for 8 days, not that I'm counting of course. LOL.

FINALLY got my overtime!
Just ordered a plaid broach, clan history & poster, some DIY items for my sporran projects and an antler sgian dubh that I've wanted ever since I first put on a kilt.
Will they arrive before my trip to Scotland in 14 days?

Just rolled up my Xmarks tartan kilt, slid it into a black nylon stocking and reverently packed it into my suitcase. I'm finally ready to go. Now if the plane took off tomorrow morning instead of next Wednesday...
