Seersucker Jacket Conversion - ready for the summer!

When it gets hot and humid in Virginia my USA Kilt semi-trads are my go to kilts. I wanted a light weight summer kilt jacket for those few occasions when I need to dress up. I purchased off the rack from our local Belks a seersucker jacket on sale and shipped it off to VMac3205
(Victoria MacKenzie) for her do to her thing. She did it in a wonderful way that I am really pleased with result.

So today, I had a dress up event, it was after Memorial Day and it was hot and humid; perfect for the seersucker jacket. USA Kilt semi-trad in American Heritage tartan. The hose are cotton from Sock Dreams. Sorran by Artifcer. The open weave straw hat kept my noggin cool and shaded. I was one cool dude all day long!

You look great, Ern! We definitely need more lightweight kilt jackets for summer wear in these warmer climes!

Excellent look, especially for those of us in the hot, humid regions. Like the Sock Dream hose, just received a pair of those in the mail myself, how do you find they are holding up in use?

Really nice! I have a natural linen sport coat that I've been threatening to convert, I think you've given me the push I needed to start. Thanks
