BRAVE in Central Florida

BRAVE opens Friday, June 22, at the Seminole Towne Center 10 in Sanford. That's just south of the mall of the same name, just off I-4. Showtimes are 1:30 p.m., 4 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 9:05 p.m. Saturday showtimes are the same.

So who's up for a kilted excursion to the 9:05 p.m. showing?

Anyone want to get dinner beforehand? There's a great Japanese restaurant, Maru, right near the mall as well. Sushi, tempura and hibachi grilled food. They have the most amazing, original sushi creations. And what goes better with kilts than sushi?

Outstanding! My wife and I will be there, and the dinner idea sounds terrific! Are you thinking Friday or Saturday night? Saturday would be better for us as I'm at work until 4:30pm, 45-minutes home, then another 40-minutes back out to the mall. I'd miss dinner...

We met a few weeks ago at McK's ... I've been looking forward to this "event" since then.

If we get enough interest, perhaps the theater management can cordon off a section? Just a thought ...

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to pull out of this. Not solely because of how few responses there have been, but because our church is going to see Brave the Wednesday after it opens and the price is considerably lower. And I've already been asked if I'm going to wear a kilt ...

Still trying to decide if I'm going casually kilted, dressy kilted or Renfest (read: Not at all authentic but old-timey looking) kilted.

Hey Guys!...sorry I havn't been on top of this. New World Celts Orlando Chapter will be at the 6:45pm showing on Saturday, My chapter will be in attendance for support! I think we're all meeting up at 5:30-6ish at Aloma Cinema Grille

oh ya...forgot to add. There will be Pipers Piping us into the theater, marching in with flags and banners.
Friday the 22'nd at Highlands park at 11:30am some folks are gathering on the Hill proudly wearing Tartans for a interview with local news media.
