The first time I went out to a Tartan Day celebration two years ago and my girlfriend and I went to one of the local shopping malls afterwards. She was pretty uncomfortable being in public with me wearing the kilt, I on the other hand was having a ball. A women comes from across the cosmetics department over to us and says, "I'm a Campbell too! Nice Kilt!" My girlfriend starts to take a little more notice and the salesgirl behind the counter starts telling us about her Scottish heritage. I was enjoying the heck out the whole deal!
Only a few of the men we encountered would make any real eye contact!! lol!!!
