my grandmaw finaly realized i had on a kilt on tuesday. i had been wearing it since thursday and was at her house all afternoon monday and most of sunday evening, well about mid afternoon on tuesday she asked if that<me kilt> was my dads kilt,<dad was in a pipes and drums band with the shriners fer awhile> i looked at her and said no it was mine and her reaction was catostrafic she said OK, and has not ask anymore about it it made me day that she did not call it a s&*r%,or make some other off color comment about it. thanks kilted in kc 8)
You know, K in KC, you might be surprised to hear this but there lots of "old fogeys" in the world that are actually pretty cool about stuff like that. With age often comes wisdom.
i agree blu there are alot of old fogeys that are cool about stuff but gmaw almost had a $h!t fit when i got my labret pierced, so i did not know how she would react to me kilt, and she thinks i need a major hair cut, but that aint gona happen no hair cut fer me 8) she is kind of conservitive in her views of stuff now my uncle frankie on the other hand has hair longer than me and a beard that is longer than mine too but he is on my dads side and my gmaw is on my moms side of the family. thanks kilted in kc 8)
There is a difference between wearing clothes, even kilts, and having additional holes poked in your head. I don't understand the attraction myself, but it's your choice. Just don't sneak up and try poking holes in my lip.

I agree with Vince. It would be a pretty dull place if we were all the same. Its great to have the freedom to be ourselves.

i found out from mom today that she got a 30 minute desertation from gmaw about gmaw not liking me kilt but o well, i like it and thats all that matters gmaw did not say anything about it because i have been helping her watch me little cousin fer the last couple of days if the rest of the world would only judge people by how they behave and not by how they look then the world would be a better place thank you to those people who do judge people by how they behave it makes my modified soul feel better i agree it would be a dull place if we where all the same. thank you kilted in kc 8)
