Why has no one enquired, since there are several members who live or travel nearby?
There was no opportunity for me to enquire in the shop yesterday, which was Sunday, as the shop is closed on Sundays. It will be several weeks before I will be back in Glasgow, next time will probably also be a Sunday.

It seemed very much "business as usual" when I was there on 9th June and busy as always. I think they would do well to move further towards the centre of town anyway.

That would make sense, Chas. There was a sale on, but not of the closing down variety.
Sorry if I've caused any kerfuffle with my original post. Scotland has been hit by the recession just like many other places and closures are common, so seeing the sign gave me an "Aw Naw" moment.
