We were adopted by a possum family some years back. Animal control said they liked cat food and would move on when they were ready... they were right...

Hey, it could be the next big thing with the pierced crowd. You wouldn't have to worry about that awkward sporran petting ever again.

We have had possums and racoons in the yard for decades. Back up to a golf course....
The possums hiss when one gets near. Do not mess with a 5-10 pound rat. The coons are like very small bears with mouths full of teeth. They can't be too gentle...the coyotes have not chased them away or worse.

A badger, It had taken lodgings under a shed we store pool stuff in,darn thing chased 3 grown men back inside the lodge and we had to close the pool for a couple of days 'till the DNR took it away. they are not so nice to meet, just rude and unfriendly.

Sure have. I've seen possum, skunk and racoon in my back yard. I live in suburbia with fences around each yard, so it's always a suprise to see them. I refer to them as "free range sporrans".
Badger? Only once, from a distance in the SE of the state, on a friend's farm. Nasty little guys. Tried to invade my friends chicken coop and I got to see him scurry away.

I've seen possum, and racoon on the road I almost hit them. I miss the racoon and said oh that could have been my sporran. And I see foxes all the time.
