Its been pushing 90 degrees for the past few days, and my USA Kilts Semi Traditional has been about the coolest thing to wear, so I've been kilted anyway. It seems as if I got more looks than usual at the movie, maybe because so many kids were there.
Met a fellow after the movie who works at Philmont Scout Ranch (about an hour and a half from here) and he plays the pipes and has a kilt. Maybe he will join the "Kilted Men of Taos" for the July 4th parade.
Si Deus, quis contra? Spence and Brown on my mother's side, Johnston from my father, proud member of Clan MacDuff!

I went to see it with my family last night. My son and I were the only kilted men there, which was only mildly surprising. I did get a "Dad, that man's in a dress!" comment whilst in the loo, which was hilarious considering we had just left the theatre...

Went to see the movie yesterday with a group of rennies and members of the local Celtic society. There were at least eight kilted gentleman other than myself in attendance. Nice to see everyone out in a non-celtic oriented setting.

Only 3 of us kilted in our group of 10.Everyone like it. The 3 year old was at her first real movie and was very attentive through the entire thing (very good for that age) I liked the animation and there was quite a bit of adult humor.

To clarify, what David means by "adult" is that there is humor that only an adult would get, not that it is adult (X rated) humor.

This is a recycled pic from last year but I just had to show off the bonnie lassies who went to Brave with me yesterday. We caught the noon matinee so there were not so many folks to see my kilt and my lassies.

Our family is attending on Thursday, here in Salt Lake City. We will be wearing our kilts, and the ladies in sashes. We are excited as we understand it is a great movie.

I went with my family (wife, kid and grand kids). I wore my Utilikilt and Spirit of Scotland t-shirt with the lion rampant. Loved the movie... keeping in mind it is all in the spirit of comedy.
