Will be wearing my Kerr Modern "tank" to church, then changing into one of PV kilts when I get home.

I probably won't either. We experienced our first of several triple-digit days (it hit 103 F yesterday. It's expected to hit 105 F today, 103 F Saturday, and 102 F Sunday).

I think it goes without saying that wool is not the ideal cloth in those conditions.

Besides, I'll be piping at the Quaker State 400 (at the KY Speedway) on Saturday, and wearing my band kilt most of the day. Performances expected at 2 PM EDT, 4 PM and 6 PM (the race doesn't start until 7:30 PM). If it's just too darn hot, our Pipe Major said she'd cancel the rest after the first performance.

What my wife and I wore...

We received many compliments. It was a good day, indeed .
