Glasgow Lands Scottish Festival, Northhampton, MA July 21st

Hey all, I've noticed that there are mentions of Glasgow Lands in other threads, I thought it would be good to have a dedicated thread. I'll be wandering around the event most of the day, I was wondering if anyone else would like to meet up for a group picture or a pint or two. In any case, I'll be the tall red-headed guy wearing a kilt in Campbell Ancient, and a khaki shirt with Scottish-American Military Society patches and whatnot.

I know if I post pictures after the fact, anyone who was there will be saying, "I saw that guy". I'm hoping for some decent weather and entertainment this weekend, in the midst of our current heat-wave. In any case, I don't want to arbitrarily post a meet-up time, I know several of you have events lined up. Hope to see you there!

Edit: My name is Adam, to save anyone the trouble of hollering SKIBALLA! across the park.

I'll be there. Finally decided to put myself in for the throwing events (with my father). I'll be a rather large guy in a Douglas Modern kilt, outside of the events I'll be with my wife and our little Irish Wolfhound.

Plus, I'll be hanging around for Enter the Haggis at the end.

Cool, I'll look for you. I would bring my dogs, but I don't think a pack of cairn terriers would be all that welcome, I'll leave them home so they can continue to protect their territory.

I will most definitely be there. The old man in the Ross Hunting Modern. I will be in the company of three lovely women; my wife, my daughter and my step-daughter. I will compete on the chanter. Then I will have the rest of the day to relax, meet and greet. We will not stay for Enter the Haggis, alas. Great group.

    I'll be there.
Probably looking a lot like this. (the shorter guy)

I think one of our members has a tent in clan village.
Maybe we can meet up there for a group photo.

    Hiya!
Please stop at the Armstrong Clan Tent!!! I'll be the one hosting the tent! I'll have more than a wee dram within my tent to share. Sounds like there will be more than a few of us there. This is such good news. We've been Enter The Haggis (Haggis Heads) for years! I am so looking forward to this event. Looking forward to seeing you all there. Remember, Armstrong Clan Tent!

A great day at the festival today.

For once it wasn't 95 degrees. (it was a chilly 85)
Met Adam there. Tried to find you again Adam for a picture but couldn't.
Met Patty Smith, kilt maker extraordinaire!

Met Border Reiver at his "Armstrong" tent.

    We were kilted.
I guess my son (the picture taker) didn't realize the zoom was on.

Yes, a beautiful day, my girl and I have 5 kids between us, it's like herding cats trying to get them all to go in the same direction at once. Wish I had more time to visit with you Gary, and other folks as well. I'll post some pics soon.

It was a good day. I just wish I was able to walk around a bit Saturday. Didn't leave the athletic field until 5.
