Tobie, the trad wool is obviously heavier, a bit less comfortable than PV, but also much warmer for very cold weather (not that I even know "very cold" here).

The USA kilt will be nicer to sit in, esp. in a motor, the thick kilt is a challenge to arrange properly when driving.

I've yet to see how warm it is in cooler weather, it's pretty cool here now (about 9-10 celcius). When I get to wear it outside I'll tell you more.

Ever notice how for every one post any one makes Graham has three? Even if he did break his fingers, I am sure that he would some how post. He probably is exercising his toes now!

Well look out Glen, I'm thinking of buying that software - Dragon Naturally Speaking, now if I could SPEAK a post...wow!

the only problem is that the program costs half a kilt.

I would have no qualms about it. I would go for the kilt.

I meant to say to you Tobie, your photo on the Bear site was quite influential on me as far as buying a Bear Kilt, I liked the tartan and I think the presence of a shepherd put the cork on it! (I have a long coat shepherd)

Yay! The Duncan kilt is there!!!

Congrats Graham, that's one smart looking kilt! I'm surprised that you had time to post, I figured you'd be too busy watching Monarch after getting the kilt. I had to watch at least two episodes the night I wore my kilt for the first time.

BTW, Rocky made your kilt while Kelly was making mine. Now we share a special kilt making bondedness.

That's really special, how about that! Rocky did say the he made it after I asked him to give Kelly a kiss from me for doing a good job, he's not getting a kiss from me tho

So the kilts, yours and mine, are a bit like twins!
One day we shall have a photo taken together - or we could get a doctored piccie like that one of 5 Hamish's, how DID he do that!!

I put mine on when it arrived and I just can't take it off.
tomorrow I'm being interviewed on radio about Tartan Day, I shall wear it for the occasion. I also have a couple of celtic dinners coming up, PVis is good for that, I don't have to worry so much about dropping food on the kilt.

Life is good in a kilt!

That Rocky! He'll do anything for a kiss!

The kilts really are like twins. "Born" at the same time, both traditionals, both commissioned because we wanted to have the same kilts as famous people. Wow!

I like the picture idea. I could photoshop one, but I'd prefer a real one. Maybe if Bear's International Kilt event takes off...

You didn't know that Hamish is one of a set of quintouplets? How else can you explain how he really owns so many kilts, or knows so many famous people.
