Our tour guide sprung Cullodon as a surprise to me and then we only had about an hour and a half. She said that would be ample to either see the museum displays or go on the battlefield. Of course, I was drawn to the battlefield. I'm afraid that any amount of time there would not have been enough. I did enjoy walking the line and especially neat that my wife and I were the only ones out there. As we were heading back to the parking area, a local fellow was out on the battlefield walking his dog. Only had time for a momentary salutation. Definately a hi-light to my day and to the entire trip. I've seen museums and seen artifacts, but, feeling the connection to the "place" is something you have to experience. A special place, for sure.
