Not posted here for a long time, so here we go...

To update you I am a regular kilt wearer from the East of the UK, have 5 kilts all made in Edinburgh 2 G Taylor, 2 from Howie at TFCK and one other.

Positive. Just returned from a weeks' holiday in the Lake Distrct and what a fantastic kilted week I had with my family ( wife + 2 boys). Every day I had some great comments from people as we walked the lake sides and hills. One shop owner in Windermere "thank you for looking so dappa!" At a NT property entrance desk "you are the wrong side on the counter Margret, I have a great view of some fantastic legs"

I was wearing a tartan GT kilt with hiking boots, rolled down chunky socks, T shirt, belt and simple sporran. For a 46 year it is just magic, of course in jeans you would just feel old and ugly.

So for those of you not confident, just go and wear your kilt for any activity and enjoy the attention.

Kilt wearing is just so good....
