Virginia Scottish Games - September 1 - 2, 2012

Who in the Rabble are attending the Virginia Scottish Games and Festival on Labor Day weekend, 9/1 & 9/2?

Looking at the schedule I suggest we have a meet up at the Pub Tent on Saturday after the Parade of Clans/Massed Bands say 1 PM and on Sunday at the Pub tent at 12 noon before the Parade of Clans and Massed Bands.

In the in between times stop by the Clan MacCallum Malcolm Society tent so I can show you what I have in the cooler and what I can pour into my XMTS Quaich.

I am planning on being there, will be celebrating my birthday which is that weekend. Look forward to meeting some rabble, will definitely stop by the tent and visit.

I'm planning on being there Saturday and wearing my dandelion. Not sure which kilt will get to go.

Alas, I will be sailing toward Bermuda that weekend.

I will, however, be taking a kilt for the two formal nights aboard the ship. I suspect I can find some single-malt whiskey somewhere to toast in absentia.

But that's the weekend of our Capital District Scottish Games where I am hosting the Armstrong Clan Tent.. I'll be thinking of you folks as I have a dram or two for you. Have fun.
