North Alabma Highland Games CHANGE OF VENUE!!!!!

Due to circumstances beyond the control of the Tennessee Valley Scottish Society, the North Alabama Highland Games are being RELOCATED to Sharon Johnston Park, 783 Coleman Rd. New Market, Alabama 35761. We are still going to have the games according to plan and at the same times, only at a different location. The new location is one we have used in the past and has plenty of room. This is actually a good change due to the fact that we are now able to offer better hotel rates. We would love for you to still join us for this great event in a beautiful new location, which also boasts a new state of the art play place for the children right on the festival grounds. I would also suggest that you plan on and reserve your place for attending our patron’s dinner. It will be well worth the minimal extra cost and will be a great evening of fun, food, and fellowship. We are greatly sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause, and hope that you will still attend and enjoy the fun and fellowship with us.

Just a heads up - there are other web sites that still have the old address for the event.
I just googled ( North Alabama Highland games ) and the other sites that come up
still have it at Goose pond . I am sure you are on top of this , just wanted let you know.

Most of the links look like they all link back to the Tennessee Valley site , so you should be ok , every clan site has a link to all the games - it would take for ever to get them all
So as long as you just make the main link right now you should be ok .
Looks like it moved a little further away from me in west Georiga - but still excited

Harold, any idea what the paid attendance (average) is for the event?

Last year we had 3000 though the gate and this year we are pushing for 5000. Please tell everyone you know to come out and have a great time with us.
