If you see abbreviations, initials or acronyms you do not know the Xmarks FAQ section on abbreviations may help.

I believe he gets a couple of lines, but definitely a red shirt in the scheme of things.

    Hey Scott,

If you are ordering from House of Edgar and your kilt is still being made, you have the option to order flashes made from the scrap Dark Isle material.
Its important that you request this while the kilt is being made. This way, your flashes match your kilt 100% (PRECISE line spacing, EXACT colors, same weight, etc).
Ordering them at a later time later will still get you the same tartan, however, tartan weaving is not an exact science resulting in an ever-so-slightly different pattern (and occasionally different color scheme) than what your kilt is.
Bonus: The additional charge for HOE tartan flashes (while kilt is being made) is a fraction of what even a solid pair of flashes would cost.

    Hope this helps and congratulations!

My vote is for plum flashes from the bridesmaids' dress fabric - that little pop of color will look sharp! Oh, and congratulations on your upcoming wedding!!

Should get the dress clippings sunday and will see what I can fabricate.

I did pass on the flashes from the kilt since the kilt is essentially solid black and was thought it would be hard to really notice the weave on flashes. The shop agreed this makes sense. Now I think of it I wonder if I should have just got them done...lol
