But I thought you might like to know, in light of your discovery, that one of the dignitaries attending the New Hampshire Highland Games this September is the Chief of the Clan Maclaren, Donald MacLaren of MacLaren and Achleskine. Seems it might be fun and memorable for your wife to meet him and you, of course, can visit us in the Buchanan Clan Tent.
One suggestion for your daughters would be the MacLaren Modern from Sportkilt.com . I know my girls wore the Buchanan from SportKilt which were inexpensive but looked good. And there may very well be other makers similar with other options.
