It is a lovely tartan, isn't it?
Thanks for the quick response. Yes, it is a lovely tartan, and one I'd be happy to own. Can't wait to see pictures of the finished kilt.

A fantastic week and the absolute best instruction ALL THE WAY AROUND. The hospitality was second to none and... well, I really enjoyed the time I spent with the people that attended. I already miss them.

Oh boy the back of that Kinussie (I have been told the "G" is silent) looks great!

It was great meeting and working with you bud. Remember that without pics of the kingussie it doesn't exist. ;)

Seriously, I keep thinking this to myself.
As for the "butt look big". I've only got one inch to get to the last hole on the strap and I'll probably get there before the end of the month. I only dare lose one more inch after that. I'll be moving the buckle and strap if that happens. Don't feel a bit bad about it either. It'll give me a chance to perfect the stitching on that too.

It's silent, but not invisible. :-)

Since I had carry-on luggage I shipped mine back to Ohio. It is on a truck somewhere between here and there. I still have some work to do on mine. I will post pictures when finished. I hope to do so within a week of receiving the package.

Off topic: but can someone explain this, I took the ScotRail to Inverness and at the stop at Kingussie the "g" was not silent when the train guard announced it. Just curious.
