i think Matty Ross is thinking of there thrifty line, those have no loops and pleats are not sewn down except in the waist.
the economy is there in-between model, about 5 yards with 3 buckles ,loops and sewn down pleats, i have just got the wool economy black watch and all i can do is add to others good review of it. especially for the price. i am hoping they will do more wool in this model.

Ohhh, I didn't realize there was that much difference in the model types, lol sounds good to me, I am OCD when it comes to sewing pleat edges on kilts I make so I am excited to see what other people do with their kilts. Right now I'm in the process of coming up with a new apron design for my kilts for my signature kilts. Lol

I bought 2 of the Economy models for my boys, and I've been pleased with the quality, and how they've held up to my wild children's shenanigans.

Three days including the day I ordered it and it's already here for my enjoyment! I am fairly impressed with the craftsmanship or womanship that made this particular kilt. I take great pride in good construction, and this kilt meets my expectations!
