Hmm...I guess I never even thought requesting my own tunes would be an option. lol. I figure I'll hire a piper and put my trust in him/her that he knows what he's doing and will play great music without my poking about in his music choices. I'm the kind of bride that is like "You can do this? Ok. Take over cause I've got enough to plan" lol. I would just request Celtic music only, no recognizable pop tunes off the radio (this is a classy place, people), etc. Make it pretty.

I don't know what I want to do for music during the actual ceremony at this point. I still have to find and book a venue. I was thinking a piper at the door to welcome guests would be nice and part of me feels like the bagpipe is too intense to play during the actual walking down the aisle. Its so powerful that I hear the bagpipe and my blood vibrates and it feels like an actual lifeforce. I want something a little softer for the ceremony. But playing before and after might be cool. At the doors to welcome guests and then at the end of the ceremony?

Idk. My poor German mother feels so left out that my fathers Irish and Scottish heritage is all I ever honor. lol. Can I stick the piper in lederhosen and make everyone happy? ;) Kidding of course.
