    2012 "Mainlandgames" Highlandgames in Rüsselsheim/Germany

    Hi guys,

just want to show you a few picures from the "Mainlandgames" scottish highlandgames in Rüsselsheim/Germany. For the fifth time this year.
First time to wear my new outfit and the very first time for my girlfriend to be out with me kilted. She seemed to like it :-)
Marvellous weather, lots of cheerful and nice people and interesting games....

My girlfriend...her first scottish event. Loved it!

    Me...

    Another charming kilted guy...

The mascot of a team called "Chicken Warriors" from my hometown Darmstadt :-)

Me again...couldn't stop my girlfriend to take photos of me

"Green Pipes and Drums Weiterstadt", also from near my hometown

I met piipriker who's also living near Rüsselsheim...he took some more pictures...
It was a great event...a pity I can't go there again tomorrow...have to work.

    Greetings,

    Tom

    Hej Tom,

nice to have met you too, the tobacco was "Idsteiner Tabakum No. 2". It's a virginia mixture with small virginia flake pieces and unflavoured. It is made by K&K and you can get the same mixture (for a higher price) as "Vauen Trüllerie".

Sunday was nice, but too hot for my taste. I'm still working on the pictures from both days.

    salü Jörg
