quasi-Victorian jacket on Ebay
The title says it all.
Very interesting, and different from the usual kilt jackets we see nowadays for sure.
But note that the cut of the original is quite different: the original jacket sweeps open in the front, and the leading edges of the Inverness skirts are in-line with the front edge of the jacket, a feature often seen in The Highlanders of Scotland and numerous 19th century photos.

Here's another old photo showing the same style, having the slightly unusual feature of duplicated buttons on both sides.

The price seems a bit steep for a pre-owned jacket, but I like it.
If I didn't already have a regulation doublet in the closet, I might even be tempted to fine a smaller one or have one made up!
