These folks are very prompt sending out things, Ive got a 420 grooved SS blade from them and it arrived very quickly across the pond to the colonies. My real jonesing is finding the time to do the acutall work on this and many other projects. Ive got a fairly large supply of cherry, walnut, oak, cedar and maple at my disposal so I know I will be ordering more blades from LochNess.

BP - if only I lived closer I might have paid you a visit for some handle blanks! ![Laughing](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
This is going to be another winter project, once the allotment goes mostly fallow for the winter, along with 2 leather dess sporrans, possibly a belt or two, possibly a sporran bag for my wife, and my Loud MacLeod kilt.

Well, received my kit this morning and have to say the service and quality of items is unsurpassed.
I'll post pics once completed and may write a project article for anyone else who's not made one before.

Well, until I can find where my carving tool box is, I'm not gonna be able to anything...
