(Plus, this is when all that stuff is on the cheap!)
Those type shirts are very common down here, especially as you get closer to the coast. People love these shirts for offshore fishing. It used to be that if you saw someone wearing one, you just assumed they were going fishing. But they've really gained popularity in the last few years for everything else too, since they allow sweat to evaporate away quickly. I even see people wearing them to work.
I have several shirts like that (both short-sleeve and long-sleeve). Some came from Academy or Bass Pro Shops. This particular one came from Gibson's, but the brand name is Game Guard. It's one of their microfiber shirts. They're not cheap, but they work well in the heat!
Where did you get the sporran?
I made that one a few years ago.

Looks good. If somone has an issue with it, that is their problem. Nice work.

Where did you find the brown belt? I've been looking everywhere for one.
I like the footwear idea. I wear black Doc Martin three buckle boots when out in the sticks, or doing work outside. Do the leggings come in black? Black goes with everything.
The only thing you're missing is good eye protection. I live in Temple, so I know how intense the sun gets on the ole peepers.

I got that belt used with some other stuff from a fellow member here. But you can find brown kilt belts just about anywhere. Rocky sells brown ones with the Celtic knot embossing. The Scottish Tartans Museum gift shop sells two shades of plain brown leather kilt belts. Keltoi offers belts in both black and brown too. Heck, even Stillwater carries brown kilt belts. I'm sure there are many others as well.

Those are vintage WWII canvas leggings, and they originally only came in olive drab or khaki, to my knowledge. There are various companies making reproductions, and someone might be able to make some in black, but I can't remember seeing any.

He made it almost to Thanksgiving. But his condition (laminitis) was getting worse and worse. He finally laid down and was unable to get back up, so we had to put him down.
