    Purple would be a nice colour for a PC, with the right tartan. Purple is the complementary colour for yellow...

    Our summer here, even at latitude 53 is warmer than yours, but not enough black tie events over the summer here for me to justify one, yet...

    When I was in my mid-twenties I bought a white dinner jacket to be a summer alternative for my tuxedo.

    Every time I wore it and I do mean every time, the heavens would open and the temperature would plummet. I would be stood there, shivering and telling my hostess what a great time I was having!
