NASCAR tartan?
Opinions please. ?
Chose this clan tartan because it does the best color match to the Logo. None of the PV generics came close.

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.

The logo throws off the balance of the tartan and will cause you to continuously turn to the left when you walk.
Do the black and white lines represent the checkered flag and does the yellow line represent the caution flag?

Sure whatever you want. I tend to lean to the right anyway.... Maybe I'll walk straighter.
Bottom center might look like a hood ornament/grill logo? Maybe a custom license plate?
If asked I'll say it's the NASCAR tartan. Ought to lock'em up. Huh?
Got a MacPherson lives 4 doors down. Will see if he knows his clan tartans...
Dyeing a pair of Juzo socks red now and two pair yellow/gold later - got 3 kilts with a lot of red and 5 with yellow/gold stripes. Running out of dye colors - good, these compression socks are $17 a pair.
This is truely a rainbow colored tartan. It has all the colors except orange ( almost - where the yellow stripe crosses red at arms length ) and brown (which is dark yellow) and black and white. Neat!
No wonder it works for the NASCAR colors defined as using all the bright colors. ( I looked it up as there are a lot of bad prints and variations in the embroidered labels.) I bought two labels from different suppliers and waited till the kilt got here to pick one. Both look good on their own, but only one matches the kilt best.

Nascar is a colourful sport, anyway.
Are you going to put a big number on the front and back of the kilt?
Have fun. 'Betcha a drunk lady reaches for one (or more?) of your sporran tassels.

I think it would have to be velcroed the way drivers are changing teams and sponsers. My guy Mark Martin, now number 55, was number 5 and sponsered by Kellogg's and Carquest when I bought my last driver shirt.
Let's see - how to put a number on velcro on pleats......?
The tassels tug depends on how cute the lass is that does it.

ah yes... revolving doors and silly seasons in sports..
I splurged on my overpriced NFL Drew Brees jersey at a Chargers game, maybe two games before they traded him to New Orleans... but now I get to wear it twice as much!

I would agree, I think that the red works great. Looks much better than I would have thought, although the hose look a bit pinkish. Think I saw a thread that you dye them yourself from compression socks, so maybe need another dunk in the dye, or maybe just the lighting.

I would contrast the top with a blue under shirt and red vest or stay with red shirt and wear the blue vest.
