I totally don't get this. This is a club where members wear no clothes at all during club functions....meaning, you don't have your kilt on. What the hell are they thinking, that they can tell you what to wear or what not to wear when you're NOT doing club functions?

It's probably more complicated than that, but if it ISN'T, really more complicated then that, then I'd tell them to )*&% off and I'd go elsewhere.

Sounds to me like your club has been hijacked. I find myself in agreement with Jock and Chas. I do find myself scratching my head though at how they can tell you what to wear when not at a club function. How can any bylaws of a club, dictate to your non-club life?

    Interesting problem.
I would suspect factions have developed with your group, that have nothing to do with your kilt. Im not sure how you would change the by laws to prohibit kilts in a nudist group. Seems like the ACLU would have a field day with that one.
I wouldnt be too quick to leave. You started the group. Im sure you must have followers within the group.

Seems to me the kilt isn't really the issue, just something distinctive about you someone chose specifically to lite on to get at you. Someone is "pulling a fast one" here. It ain't the kilt..

It seems to me that some people in the board want you out. They invented the “kilt-issue” to bully you away. It is difficult to know what to do in a situation like this. You can fight but, even if you win, the underlying animosity won't be away. It will be another task to address this problem. Walking away is another option. Is the fight worth it? What do you lose? What do you win? Do you want to put energy in people who are antagonistic? I hope you find a satisfying solution.

Obviously, there is no kilt problem here.

Either you're being played or we are.
