Problems downloading the Box Pleated Kilt instructions?

I'm sure many of you have downloaded the supplemental text for making a boxpleated kilt from the Art of Kiltmaking at the Scottish Tartans Museum, http://www.scottishtartans.org/Box_p...es_ver_1.1.pdf and am hoping someone can help.

I've been trying for a few weeks now to download either version, but I keep getting messages essentially saying the file is corrupt and won't download. I've tried on three different computers, so its not just mine.
I've sent an email to ask if there is an alternative version available, but haven't had a response, and this weekend is the one I've put by for laying out the R'lyeh sett tartan into a box pleated kilt. I desperately need to read through this to refresh my memory as to the Grand Plan before I start.

Does anone have any advice for making this download properly?

I clicked on the link you give in your post, and it downloaded on my computer immediately. Could there be some problem with compatibility between your computer and scottishtartans?

I did wonder that at first, but I've now tried three different computers, one of which isnt in this house, so I'm perplexed as to why I can't get any of them to co-operate. Each time, i get a message saying the file is damaged and can't be repaired. I've got the most up to date upgrades to the acrobat reader, is there anthing else I ought to be trying to encourage it to behave?

I've saved it to my computer (and printed a copy). If you would like, PM me with your email address and I'll attach it to an email and send it. I'm not much else help I'm afraid. They didn't even have color TV when I was a child, so trust me, computers are NOT my forte!

Might be too big for some email programs. I've uploaded it to a file sharing service, here's a link that might work for you:

    Hope that helps!

When I downloaded it, Google Chrome (my default browser) puked on it, but Firefox handled it fine.
