Question Just a thought to put out there to my favorite bunch of Kilties... Ok every Kilty

So as an aspiring kiltmaker of the more modern style utility type kilts I am curious as to how many of you out there would be willIng to test garments from an unknown name in making. I have a design I want to introduce but at the same time don't want ripped off if i get outside help. I really like the rabble and know you are all trustworthy especially you business owners. Ideas and comments are appreciated.

I'm sure you'll find plenty of people willing to try a new design, if the recent interest in the unproven 5.11 kilts is any indication. I'd be willing to test one out too, but just to be clear: are you talking about a free trial, or a purchase of a prototype?

I would be willing to test one as well. But Tobus asks a great question...free trial or some sort of purchase of the test model. Also note that I am bigger than your average bear, so there would be more material for my trial version.

    Tobus and others,
i could do a few free trial kilts to the first few people, I have to note that I use a machine to stitch permanent pleats as well as snap buckles. I use a polyester cotton blend in solid colors but I do have some poly/rayon generic plaids red blue and green are the three different plaids. They are box pleat and over apron takes just over a yard of fabric. So as currently I could use you original four as my testers if your nearby aka stateside.

I must retract the stateside comment for the purpose if you would be willing to test for the cost of shipping. Or message me and we can discuss it

I am a large gent as well my sizes are 42 waist, 46 rump, standard fell and drop. I'm 5 feet 7 inches. I've made myself 7 kilts and enjoy them all. Hope to hear good things in the future.
