October Kilt Night in Waco

Just got home from the August kilt night and now it is time to plan another.
For October we discussed doing the Brew at the Zoo, at Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, Texas. Tickets should be bought on-line. Here is the link:

What better place to have a kilt night than in a park donated to the city of Waco, by a Scottish immigrant that came here and got rich in the lumber business.

And by mid October, it might actually be cool enough to wear a kilt.

BD, Had a great time Saturday...we forgot the picture! I'll be there in October. The money goes tpo a good cause that my son's Cub Scout pack supported with summer service projects back when he was a Cub. It aughta be a hoot!

Since we last met I had my first annual cancer screening; no trace of cancer and generally in good health, except my surgical scar has developed a hernia and needs repair. I have surgery scheduled for 12 October and the doc says I'll be in the hospital until the 14th or 15th. Sorry I can't make the Brew at the Zoo. Sample some for me.

Brew at the Zoo is only a month away. Are you getting excited? How about some more kilties? Who doesn't like beer, and why not try a bunch in a beautiful zoo?
