Red and green tartan identification
Wondering if this one is associated with any clan other than "MacFabricstore" - it has a classic look about it but I haven't been able to peg it after looking through a couple of books:

Looks like MacCormick Dress tartan, something created by Pendleton Mills in Oregon, USA. I have a shirt in that and it's very nice.

Interesting! Looks pretty much identical to MacCormick Dress (http://www.tartanregister.gov.uk/tar....aspx?ref=2323) but with the single and double overchecks swapped.

I gave it the 'old college try' but was unable to find any registered tartan match either. It's actually very similar to a whole bunch of tartans, with only minor changes in colours or lines. I do like the pattern, and it has a very traditional design to it. Are you going to make a kilt from it?

Some of the most popular tartan knock-offs for commercial production are Royal Stewart, Black Watch, Dress Gordon, and Lindsey. None of them, though, are usually the actual tartan. My guess is this one is a near approximation of the Lindsey tartan.

It does look much like, although not identical to Lindsay.

It's 1/2 of the Black Watch sett (double tramlines in the center) where blue becomes green, black becomes blue, and green becomes red.
