    och aye!
    a clever reply
    a thank ye
    from a Yankee
    who cherishes memories
    of my 8 years over-by.

Not one of those posts is half bad
Though some may think we're all mad
When it comes to a kilt
    It helps when you're built
But hey, everything looks better in plaid.

Such a fine display of the gift,
    that's well known as the Limerick;
    though subtle and sublime,
    it helps pass the time;
and above all it keeps the wits quick.
I've found that most relationships work best when no one wears pants.

In the US, though not quite in Wilts,
Is a chain selling beer that's named "Tilts"
    Where the service is sassy
    From a buxom young lassie
With short kilts too naughty for stilts!

Though rhyme is the name of the game
The lyrics here seem rather tame
    For something more spicy
    Although sometimes dicey
Most limericks start with a dame.

Here are few more limericks on kilts
And None at all on Wilts
    So loosen a buckle
    And have a wee chuckle
At these few rhymes on kilts

There once was a fellow named Hamish
    Who thought trousers rather plain-ish
He's stocked his house to the hilt
With rare forms of the kilt
And now we are all fans of the Hamish

If it is kilts that you hoard
Then watch out for the board
    In your wifes right hand
    And her wicked back hand
Or you'll see stars and not tartan in your hoard

    He was well built
    And wore a nice kilt
With his wife he would flirt
When she wore a short skirt
    It was time well kilt
