Have you considered making your own X-Kilt? For $100, you could buy a used sewing machine (assuming you don't have a machine already), plus the material to make several kilts to experiment with. And at the end of the process, you'd have the knowledge/experience/ability to make yourself unlimited numbers of cargo-style kilts. The best part is that it would be tailored exactly to your body, and you can make all the adjustments you want, rather than buying someone else's off-the-rack product that may or may not fit or perform like you want. All it takes is the time and effort to learn how to do it, using Alan's instructions and help from forum members.

That said, I haven't made one myself. If I were in the market for another cargo-style kilt, though, it's probably the way I'd go.
