Clan Chattan Kilt From John at keltoi
Received my new kilt from John at Keltoi and it is an excellently crafted kilt.
Firstly, John sends his kilts out in a long box, which means the kilts are not folded in any way (they are rolled to fit in the box and protected by a garment carrier).
There are 3 rows of basting stitches and you can literally take the kilt out of the box, remove the basting stitches and wear it.
The kilt is John’s knife pleated 8 yard deluxe model, 16oz Lochcarron, Clan Chattan, ancient colours, pleated to the sett. It has two buckles/straps, no belt loops and the shorter stiff style double fringe.
The hand stitching throughout is superb. Pleats are very well supported and from the feel of the fell area, all that should be in there, is and excess material has been cutaway (no, I am not going to undo the liner)
John is great to work with and answers queries and requests in a very timely manner.
Thank you for the great experience and fantatic kilt John.

What a beautiful kilt! - very colorful and elegant. You look very dapper in it - everything nicely displayed. Congratulations on your new acquisition. Love that sporran and belt, too. I've seen it before. Wish I had a light brown set like that.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Wow, fantastic kilt! I have a Chattan on my "someday" list as I have several affiliated families in the tree. Your brown leathers look great with it.

Very nice kilt! (I've always wanted a Clan Chattan kilt, as my mother was a Smith.) Yet another beautiful addition to your collection, and you wear it well. Congratulations!
