Fantastic, Sir. Very well crafted look, indeed. I love how large the Chattan sett repeat is. Very well done.

Superb! Outstanding! That's a handsome kilt, and looks to be very high quality (as one would expect from Keltoi). Your presentation is excellent too, if I may say so. Love the whole outfit, from the kilt to the sporran to the jacket and everything else. And it's worth pointing out, too, that I really like the pattern of that jacket paired with that tartan. Wonderful combination!

These photos should be used as examples of how it should be done.

Well Done Sir, Well Done. I have to get one, the son has one and the wife her sash, It would be good to have us all in the same tartan once in awhile.
again well done and it looks great

Really good looking! The colors are beautiful, and the kilt seems impeccably made - congratulations!

Looks great; not just the new kilt (which is really nice), but the look overall. Thanks for the full explanation and the inspiring photos.

Many thanks for the compliments guys, John certainly is a master of his craft. The kilt, jacket, belt and sporran were all from advertisers on this forum and purchased after reading a myriad of recommendations from other members. This is one of the benefits of being a member here at XMTS

I have always been rather fond of the Chattan sett, not only for the colour scheme, but also because it is almost always woven in an enlarged size. Such an attractive (and fairly old - Crubin Plaid) tartan!

    Cheers,

What a fantastic kilt !!! You are looking great in it. I have a Chattan also, in 13oz Lochacarron. I usually wear it with the green hose as you are. The coat is a great addition, I may have to get one myself. I freind of mine made me some flashes from remnants left over from the making of my kilt. I am altering between those and orange flashes, which I think go quite well with Chattan.
