Well, as I'm traveling for work and don't have access to all of my photos or a camera to take new ones, I hope this photo satisfies both a leg closeup and a highland games activity shot.
Here's one more without hose. This was taken at the end of the Ventura, CA (Seaside) highland games.
As you can tell from the photos, I'm not shameless when it comes to advertising products, whether it be my alma mater The University of Arizona, my love of bacon, The highland games group (Tucson Celtic Hammer Heads) that I train with, my favorite Tanel360 highland games cleats, Sportkilts, and of course hopefully fine hose from House of Cheviot!
I guess I should also mention, if it's not obvious in the pictures, that my calves are large. I've got a few pairs of hose that simply won't fit around them. Again, traveling, so I don't have a tape measurer, but I'd estimate that they are conservatively in the range of 21"-22".
