two interesting vintage kilt pins
These came and went on Ebay, and I was tempted by both, though I was able to hold back my "trigger finger"!
First, this very nice vintage silver kilt pin which, it seems to me, might portray St Giles, Edinburgh (EDIT: is it the Wallace Monument, Stirling?)
Nowadays "Celtic cross" kilt pins are common, but I can tell you that back in the 1980s I searched in vain for one, and eventually had Ortak make one up for me out of a cross they sold as a pendant.
But here is a lovely vintage Robert Allison Celtic cross kilt pin!
