Looks like a great place to relax and have a pint or a wee dram. And, as always you make kilting up look so natural Dale. As per the slip on shoes, I think they work.

Thanks! Thing about Japan is that you typically spend a lot more time taking shoes off and putting them back on than in the States. . .

Indeed, the HUB is a fine chain of pubs, and often when I visit Tokyo, I'll stop at one for a pint. Problem is, they always seem to be ridiculously busy and packed with people. Lol.
Someday, I'd still like to meet you in person when you're here.
Cheers,
JD

Still one of my favorite places. I was stunned Sunday night after Hatsumi sensei's birthday party, at the "after party" at The Hub, to be greeted by a cute local lass I met there on the same date last year who both remembered my name and still had my calling card in her wallet. Wow.
Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), in my personal experience auld argonian's comment above may apply to Vegas but -- What happens in Japan, to me anyway, is all over the frakkin' world in seconds. So if anyone wonders, the answer is no. Were I Catholic I'd know for certain I'm bound for Purgatory, but for this time at least I've avoided the warmer and more southerly climes. Even though my hotel room at Kashiwa Plaza was literally just across the street about 200 feet away.
Best post this week, easy.

In case anyone wants to see the rest of the photos I saved from the trip, the album is on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...1&l=59d1c45223
That's a "public" link, you don't need an account there to see them if you use it.
