Clan news o' the day
Just came across this in the Scotsman:
"A CLAN chief has sparked a row with Highland Council after barring vehicle access to a beauty spot at the seaside resort of Nairn."

Strange story. A lot of emphasis put on the fact that he is a Clan Chief. Would they have written about it if he had been Rory MacNobody instead? It is one of those half stories - does he have the right to block the road or not - the article does not say.
Regards
Chas

I found an open letter from Brodie of Brodie explaining that the land was his property but given over to the RSPB for their purposes. People have been taking dogs into the area and allowing them to roam free, and there have been reports of shooting on the land, even in the car park, but the police have been telling members of the public that they can't act as it is private land, and telling him that they can't act as there is public access.
I just Googled for information.
