I'm having the waistcoat done in 10oz Locharron wool, rather than the 16oz Locharron that the kilt is made of. (I break into a sweat just reading a newspaper - heavyweight wool for the vest would be way too much.)

Sensible under the circumstances, but -- is the sett size the same for both weights?
