    Thanks for posting this card. The picture is fabulous. I am surprised the colours are still vibrant given it's age. I'll work on the Italian part and see what was said.

    The card clearly dates from the era of colouring black-and-white photographs, but I enjoy the brightness of it and am intrigued that it has been kept so well.
    I would be most interested to see a translation of the Italian.

    Yes it is definitely a black and white, coloured photo. I did add a little bit of contrast to the image in Photoshop so that the words would stand out better. But the colour is there just a tad less vibrant in real life. It's really not in super great shape you can see the corners are worn and there is a crease or two, it's yellowed and looks like it may have had a bit of water get on the back. I'll have to ask my dad where he got it from. But he keeps it in a plastic cover in his collection.
