Checked the one on the south end of College Station, but no luck. Has anyone been able to figure out a pattern for where these show up?

It looks like they are throwing darts at a US map or using a lottery machine to ship one store at a time. Two sightings in Virginia, one in California and one Texas. If it is test marketing you would think we would have a Northeast, Midwest or Northwest sighting where tweed would be more popular and practical.

I was hoping Costco would jump on something like this but found nothing on their website.

The one on Liberia Ave. in Manassas appears to have them too. I saw one out of place while doing Christmas shopping. Same hangar and everything. If they are still around after Christmas I might see if they have any I like.

Looks like VA is the hot spot for these jackets.
Adam, I hope we meet while out and about. When I venture into the 'big city', I tend to hang on the other side unless visiting my dad or sister.

Come to think of it Burlington had something along those lines too recently so it wouldn't hurt to try them.
Manassas a center of fashion, a big city, someone get the defibrilator! :-)

They seem to be showing up in communities with a large proportion of folks with Scottish heritage, ... like El Paso.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

I spent 2 Christmases in El Paso (my wife's hometown)...kilted. Not the mecca of kilts..but no issues out and about. I was more surprised to see a BMW dealership.

I wouldn't expect El Paso to be particularly kilt unfriendly, just Harris Tweed deprived. But, perhaps some of their tweed customers come from the Army base.
As for the BMW dealership, no surprise there. The drug dealers have to drive something fast.
