The Stewart Hunting is indeed a great tartan, associated with a great regiment, the 1st Regiment of Foot, the Royal Scots ("Pontious Pilate's Bodyguard" is their nickname) -- they are still in Iraq at present, I believe.

As far as "dress" or "formal" goes, it is, IMHO, a great investment, because you never have to rent a tuxedo or formal wear, and consequently, risk being dressed in a powder-blue tux!

Besides -- women love a man who can dress for any occasion and look good -- why do you think Cary Grant got all of the women?

Cheers!
