Well said Grizzly.
We are all thankful that Nighthawk's daughter was not a victim of the horrific incident.
Nonetheless it will be traumatic for her to have to relive the event in court and will be hard work for Nighthawk supporting her through this difficult time.
Chas is a decent guy whom I have met many times and who I am sure is as sympathetic as the rest of us to what Nighthawk and his daughter are having to go through this week.
Chas raised what he considered to be a valid point of order regarding our rules, and was not the first to do so, the matter having already been raised by another member by way of a report to the moderators. If Chas considered the post to be against the rules then he would have been condoning the perceived rule breach by posting a message of sympathy in this thread, there are plenty of means other than this thread by which Chas can express his sympathy directly to Nighthawk. Speaking personally and mod hat definitely off I am disappointed in the way some members have castigated Chas for simply expressing his honestly held opinion on the rules.
