It's not like I'm hard to get a hold of guys. I am a simple PM, email, phone or Skype call away.

I can let you order off a website and hope everything is measured and done right or we can do this the personal way.

I have found by experience that talking to the person who is going to insure and guarentee your jacket is exactly what you want, works far better than an impersonal website ever could.

When ordering a custom made jacket I have found that I can give far more options and choices and can insure a better fit in person than any website.

If you have Skype on your computer I can even turn on my webcam and personally walk you through the measuring. I can hold the fabric swatches up to the camera and let you see what they look like against a known color fabric or Tartan.

I can hold up the actual buttons and let you pick from the 5 different choices side by side.

Honestly, I actually prefer talking to my customers.

Good on you, Steve! I really find that attractive in a merchant. I hope to order one of your kilts someday simply because you do great work and interact with your customers, even via Skype.

That's true, but I would have never known that you even offered them if I hadn't read this thread.

No worries! I hope you find what you are looking for.

Steve, I think your approach to sales and service is admirable

That, however, is not the problem (see the quote below). If your accessories page was up and running, you could use it just to let people know that the option is there for these awesome jackets, without having to do any of the sales/service on the website. Basically copy your post from this thread onto your website and say "contact me for measuring info, fabric options, ordering, etc." Just a humble suggestion.

What? You mean you didn't see the whited-out kilt jacket thumbnail on the Freedom Kilts website merged under the "coming soon" accessories banner at the bottom of the store page?

Glancing at the list of threads, I keep reading the title of this thread as a completely different topic... maybe just because I'm in Vancouver....

Its true Steve. I was purchasing a jacket and vest this Christmas and looked at your site, but didn't know you sold them. I ended up going with another vendor....but you have the exact jacket and vest I wanted.....I guess now I know for next Christmas!
